I've been quiet for a reason.
The biggest update SEVERANCE has ever had drops next week, and it's all about what happens between the scares. New ways to express yourself, new ways to make your space your own, and a brand-new way to run your lobbies. This is a Major Update, and it's only the beginning. Here's what's coming.
Your survivor, your rules. You can now customize your character however you like, dial in the look you want and stop blending into the crowd. Step into the lobby as someone unmistakably you.
This is a big one. Your lobby is now fully yours to shape, furniture, paintings, couches, the lot. Move it, place it, decorate it, and turn the space into something that actually feels like home (or whatever you want it to be). And it's not just for you. Drop into other players' games and you'll see their lobbies too, every one different, every one decorated their own way. Your space says something about you, and now everyone who joins gets to see it. Think of this as the foundation. It already works great, feels great, and there's a huge amount to play with right out of the gate, and we're going to keep building on it for a long time to come. Expect more furniture, more items, and more ways to make your lobby your own in future updates. And there's more on the horizon: trophies. Take on challenges, earn your rewards, and show off your collection to everyone who walks through the door.
Say hello to your new command center. The Laptop is where lobbies are run from now, pick your map, switch your game mode, set the difficulty, and get everything dialed in before the session begins. It's built, it's solid, and it's ready to go. And like the rest of this update, the interface and what it can do will keep growing and improving over time.
The Tablet has had a complete overhaul — cleaner, smoother, and far better to use from top to bottom.
This update is a foundation, and I'm already building on top of it. Coming soon after launch: a brand-new map and a brand-new ghost, releasing together, complete with lore.
