Two new Bibles to type

This update adds two complete Bibles, free:

  • Hebrew Bible — the Westminster Leningrad Codex for the Old Testament paired with the Delitzsch 1892 Hebrew New Testament. For the first time you can type the entire Christian canon in Hebrew, cover to cover.
  • Japanese Bible — the classic Bungo-yaku literary translation (Meiji Old Testament + Taishō New Testament), carefully modernized so every verse is typeable on a standard IME.

Pick either under Settings → Translation.

Two new interface languages

The UI now ships in 28 languages, up from 26 — newly added:

  • עברית — full right-to-left interface
  • Latina — for Vulgate readers and the seriously committed

Change it under Settings → Interface Language.

Totals after this update

  • 33 free Bible translations
  • 26 Bible languages
  • 28 interface languages

Translation updates

The Ukrainian Bible now ships the public-domain Kulish 1905 edition, and the Japanese edition is the modernized Bungo-yaku above. If you'd been typing in either language, just re-select it under Settings → Translation.

Also in this build

  • Stability and text-rendering fixes across several translations
  • Behind-the-scenes plumbing and build improvements

Happy typing.
