We've been waiting a long time to say this... Non-League Manager is now available to play on Steam Early Release!
So what does this mean?
Most importantly, it means you can download the game right now. In just a few minutes, you could be managing your local non-league side to victory and finding out what all the fuss is about. But there are one or two things to bear in mind.
As a Steam Early Release title, the game is effectively in public beta. There will be bugs. Some things might not work quite as expected. This is to be expected. Games need a wide pool of players in order for issues to surface - especially a deep, complex simulation like Non-League Manager.
We're a very small team, but we're working day and night on squashing bugs as they're spotted. Patches and updates are pushed to Steam pretty much daily (and sometimes more than once a day), so you can rest assured that any bugs will be squashed quickly - usually the same day.
One of the biggest benefits of Steam Early Release is that you can buy the game at a hugely discounted price. Once the game exits the Early Release phase and goes onto full release, the price will roughly double (depending on local currency). Buying the game now gives you instant permanent access forever, at a huge discount.
We don't do micro-transactions. We don't do in-game ads. We don't milk you with DLC. We're old-school. Once you've bought the game, it's yours, and you'll get to enjoy regular new features and updates on an ongoing basis. It's our thank-you to you for getting in early and supporting us from the start.
Keeping you updated
We always try to be as open and transparent as possible. As a very small team, that can be difficult. The best platform tends to be our Discord server, but we're aware that the Steam Community will be somewhere you'll want to go to discuss the game and ask questions, so we're going to be far more active there for you as well.
We welcome questions, suggestions and feedback - our sole aim is to make the most authentic, realistic, immersive non-league football management simulation in the world. We're very confident we've already achieved that, by a wide margin. But we want to keep making the game better for you in every possible way.
Spreading the word
If you enjoy playing Non-League Manager, we'd be incredibly appreciative if you could leave a Steam review. Reviews are the bread and butter for indie developers, and they help Steam put the game in front of the eyes of other potential players.
More players means more resources for us to grow the game even further, and keep improving it even more.
