Another Automation Update is here for Gacha Capsule Shop Simulator - Akihabara!
This update expands worker automation with new tasks, secondary task assignments, the new Auto Capsule Opener, additional storage room expansions, and several improvements and fixes.
But there is something else we have been working on...
The Steam Workshop for Gacha Capsule Shop Simulator - Akihabara is now officially open to everyone!
You can now create, upload, share, and download community-made mods through Steam Workshop.
To make creating mods as easy as possible, we have also released our own official mod creation tool: the Gacha Capsule Mod Factory.
The Mod Factory is available for free to everyone who owns the game and should automatically appear in your Steam Library under Tools.
You can use it to create your own content and upload it directly to the Steam Workshop without needing to manually edit game files.
We are excited to see what you create!
Workers can now be assigned to collect coins from your gacha machines, taking another repetitive task off your hands.
Workers can now be assigned to open capsules automatically.
Workers can now be assigned a secondary task, allowing them to help with more than one job around your shop.
Added the new Auto Capsule Opener machine for automating capsule opening. It can work on it's own slowly, or you can assign a worker to work on the Auto Capsule Opener to make it run faster!
Your storage room can now be expanded even further with four additional expansions, giving larger shops much more room for their inventory and automation setups.
Worker skills have been changed to attributes to support assigning more than one task
Improved translations
Cats should no longer freeze in a pose and slide around
Rebalanced rent and electricity costs
Fixed an issue that caused outlines to appear through the phone and tablet
Fixed an issue that caused modded capsule packs to reset their prices every day
Fixed poster materials so their backsides are visible when placed on windows
With Steam Workshop now public, we are looking forward to seeing Akihabara filled with creations from the community.
Workshop and modding support will continue to grow alongside the game, and we will be watching your feedback as we improve the tools and add more possibilities in future updates.
