We're super excited to share that lovebyte.exe is now available in Early Access so that players can experience what the game has to offer so far in features, characters, and game content. Being in Early Access will allow our small, but mighty indie team of four to hear all of your feedback & incorporate what we can into game updates, leading up to version 1.0 release.
In US-region pricing, Early Access is discounted at 25% off as we plan on increasing the price at version 1.0 launch ($11.99 ➡️ minimum $15.99, if not more). We plan to be in Early Access until version 1.0 releases sometime in Q1 2027, exact date TBD as it depends on Early Access feedback.
As of today (8/24/2026), the game has content all the way up to the SECOND "DM" day after the unlocked romanceable character reveals their identity from their voice call. Below is our planned roadmap for releasing updates in Early Access - with even more details to come through lovebyte.exe's Steam Community discussion board, our social media account, and through our discord server. [Pssst, more content coming in one month! Including more group chats, new features, new art, more voice acting, etc.]
