We’re thrilled to announce that we’re setting off on another adventure with Acornia: Mirror Worlds coming to Steam in 2027! This time, we’re blending cosy shop management with action-packed exploration in the mysterious dark dimension of Duramen!
After Splasher and Tinykin, we wanted to take Splashteam somewhere new: no sequel, and—at least for now—a break from platforming (our feet needed it). With Acornia: Mirror Worlds, we’re trading pure exploration for a cozy pastry shop caught between two worlds.
One moment, you’re managing recipes and serving treats; the next, you’re fighting angry spirits with those very same treats stuffed into your bottomless cheeks.
We wanted to combine the arcade feel and satisfying combat we love with a deeper story, lovable characters, and a world that changes with the seasons.
It’s a very different game, but it still carries the Splashteam DNA: quirky worlds, playful writing, and gameplay that feels great in your hands. And yes, some of the talented artists behind Tinykin are coming along for the ride ! ✨
