Hi everyone! Long time no see, but I had to break silence in this special ocasion.
Exophobia released on this day 2 years ago, July 23rd, 2024! So I'm going to be a bit emotional... Time sure flies, it seems like it was just yesterday I released this project into the world, a project that, even with its imperfections, rough corners and inexperienced decisions, was a big part of my life and myself. And I'm very proud of it and thankful for everyone that joined me on this journey and experienced what I made. To celebrate, there's a 50% discount on the game during the week, so new players can discover and enjoy the game. Or you can gift it to someone else who you think will like it! I really wish I had more news to share, I really wanted to smooth some courners on the game according to feedback, and I know I announced a whole new content update some time ago. But ever since I launched the game I have been working full time ( I know it was my decision :P ) and I barely have energy left to work on games. It's not just a matter of time to work, but at the time, all the joy I get from game dev isn't overcoming the sense of dreadness I feel when I think of staying late at the computer.
Hopefully this feeling will change soon, so wish me luck! I still feel the call to make more games, and I was really pumped up last year with Sweep Strike and the Fire and Ice Expedition update, but it was too much excitiment just to fall flat this year lol. Hope you understand
