Version 0.6.15 Update

Animalkind · published 4 Jun 2026, 22:17 UTC · build 23574543

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

This is a small update adding the Tackle Box feature to Animalkind. The Tackle Box allows players to more easily switch between bait types and their fishing rods while fishing. Good luck out there anglers!

Bait Selection using the Tackle Box

Any baits you have available will appear in the bait tab of the Tackle Box. Depending on the type of fish you're hoping to catch, you'll want to use the bait they're likely to want. Freshwater fish tend to prefer worms, crickets, or shiners. Saltwater fish tend to prefer shrimp and sand crabs.

Rod Selection using the Tackle Box

Any rods you have in your inventory will appear in the rod tab of the Tackle Box. The more advanced the rod, the easier of a time you'll have reeling in the big one. Remember, you'll need these rods to be in your mech's inventory to use them.

Thank you for playing Animalkind! Have a great week!
