Your next opponent can be on any platform: a Pico or Quest headset, a PS5, a Steam PC or a phone. Cross-play works for multiplayer pickleball, padel and badminton, and this update makes those matches run smoothly from the moment you join a court to the last point.
One court, every platform
Every version of the game shares the same courts, so a match can mix headsets, consoles, PCs and phones. Your opponent sees you as an avatar that matches how you play.
Pico: play in a VR headset with controllers. Opponents see your head and hands, moving as you do.
Meta Quest: play in a VR headset with controllers. Opponents see your head and hands, moving as you do.
PS5: play in a PS VR2 headset, or on the TV with a controller. Opponents see your head and hands in VR, or a full-body player on the TV.
Steam (PC): play in a PC VR headset, or with keyboard, mouse or controller. Opponents see your head and hands in VR, or a full-body player who walks, serves and swings with your shots on desktop.
Mobile: play with touch and swipe. Opponents see a full-body player who walks, serves and swings with your shots.
Cross-play covers every multiplayer sport on the courts list: pickleball, padel and badminton.
How to play together
It takes one court and a few seconds; neither of you needs to know what the other is playing on.
Open Courts and choose a sport: pickleball, padel or badminton.
Create a court. It gets a short court ID, shown on the court panel.
Your friend opens Courts on their platform, picks the same sport and taps Refresh.
They find your court in the list and join it.
The match starts as soon as the court is full, with each player on their own side of the net.
The update comes to Pico, Quest, PS5, Steam and mobile.
Update before you play
Both players need the latest version. If one of you is on an older version, you can both end up on the same side of the net. If that happens, ask your opponent to update and create a new court.
See you on the court, whatever you play on.
