Into the Fire Playtests No. 2 Are Over!

Hey, Soul Seekers! 👋

And that's a wrap. The latest round of Into the Fire playtests has officially come to an end.

First and foremost, we want to say a massive thank you to everyone who joined us over the past days. Whether you spent dozens of hours exploring every corner of the cataclysm zone, jumped in for a couple of runs, reported bugs, shared suggestions, filled out surveys, or simply told us what felt good and what didn't - you've helped us tremendously.

These playtests were never just about putting a build in your hands and seeing whether it works. They were about figuring out how Into the Fire feels to actually play, where the experience needs more clarity, what systems need further tuning, and which parts of the game deserve more attention.

And thanks to you, we got plenty of answers. ❤️‍🔥

Your Reports Mattered 🔥

One of the best parts of running these playtests was being able to actively update the build based on what you were experiencing and reporting.

Throughout the playtests, we rolled out multiple updates addressing bugs, improving existing systems, and adding new features.

Some of these changes came directly from things you reported. Others came from watching how you played, where you struggled, and what confused you. That's exactly why these playtests matter so much to us.

You've broken things we didn't expect anyone to break, challenged some of our assumptions, and gave us a huge amount of useful feedback to work with.

And yes, sometimes you managed to find a new bug approximately five minutes after we fixed the previous one.

So, What's Next? 👀

Now that the playtests are over, it's time for us to go through everything we've gathered.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be looking closely at your feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, surveys, and gameplay data.

We'll be identifying the areas that need further improvement, discussing the ideas you've shared with us, and evaluating which of them could make their way into future versions of the game.

We don't want to get into specifics just yet, but there's plenty for us to work on and your feedback will continue to be an important part of that process.

See You Among The Flames 🔥

Once again, thank you for taking part in the latest Into the Fire playtests and for helping us make the game better.

We're incredibly grateful for all the time, feedback, bug reports, and suggestions you've shared with us over the past days. We'll be back with more updates when we're ready to show you what's next.

In the meantime, make sure to wishlist Into the Fire on Steam and follow us here and on our social channels so you don't miss anything. See you among the flames, soul seekers!
