Table 9 Is Getting Darker

The night shift is getting worse.Since the first reveal of Table 9, I’ve been pushing the game further into horror. The quiet tension is still there, but the cafe is no longer just strange. It’s becoming far more unsettling.

What is Table 9?

Table 9 is a short first-person psychological horror game set in a looping European-style specialty cafe.

Your job sounds simple:

  • Deliver coffee to 9 tables

  • Watch the room carefully

  • Reach Table 9

But the longer your shift goes on, the harder the cafe becomes to trust.

The pivot?

I’ve been adding more horror elements to make every run feel more intense and more unnerving.

  • Stronger horror throughout the experience

  • More unsettling atmosphere

  • More tension as each run progresses

  • More disturbing anomalies creeping into the cafe

  • A sharper contrast between calm routine and growing dread

What stays the same?

The core loop is still all about observation, memory, and tension.Every correct delivery brings you closer to Table 9. But if you miss an anomaly, your shift resets. And when you need a moment to breathe, you can still slow down behind the bar and practice latte art before stepping back onto the floor.

Support the dev

If you like atmospheric psychological horror, subtle anomalies, and the uneasy feeling that something is very wrong in a place that should feel safe, wishlist Table 9 and follow the game for more updates.
