Just in time for Steam Next Fest, the bar opens its doors to other players!
Online multiplayer and voice chat are now available in the Puck'n Hell demo! Invite a friend, customize your character and face off against a real opponent across the table. With Update v0.5.0, we've reached the third milestone on our roadmap: Online Testing! Online multiplayer is now available in the demo, so grab a friend and face off across the table.

Added Steam friend invitations and room code support.
Introduced a first-person bar where players meet before each match.
Added character customization with selectable heads, eyes and mouths.
Added voice chat with push-to-talk and voice activation.
Added voice chat settings, microphone testing and noise suppression.
Added rematches and character reactions during online matches.
Added hands-free interactions using SensePilot head tracking.
Updated the game's overall visuals, including room lighting and atmosphere.
Create public or private rooms and join existing rooms through the room list.
Join friends directly using their room codes.
Invite Steam friends directly from your room.
Matchmaking is currently unavailable in the demo.
Both players must be running the same demo version to play together.
Before every online match, both players enter the bar in first person, where they can walk around and meet each other's characters.
Walk to either end of the table to choose your side.
Press T (gamepad Y) to move directly to your position.
SensePilot users can simply smile to take their position.
Once both players have held their positions for three seconds, the match begins.
Customize your character's head, eyes and mouth through the Online menu.
Your appearance is visible to your opponent both in the bar and during matches.
Online matches follow the same rules as singleplayer.
Each player starts with ten hearts.
The longer a rally continues, the more hearts the next goal removes.
Your opponent's character reacts to goals and the final match result.
Request a rematch after finishing a match.
Voice chat is now available throughout the online experience, allowing players to communicate in rooms, inside the bar and during matches.
Use V (gamepad LB) for push-to-talk by default.
Switch to voice activation for hands-free communication.
Mute your opponent at any time. Your mute preference is remembered for future sessions.
Players you've blocked on Steam are automatically muted.
Mute your own microphone through your room card or the pause menu.
Your opponent's character hops while they speak.
Added a new VOICE tab in Settings with the following options:
Microphone selection
Microphone testing
Volume controls
Voice activation sensitivity
Noise suppression
Players using SensePilot head tracking are offered voice activation for a completely hands-free experience.
Your voice is transmitted only to your opponent and is never recorded.
We recommend using headphones to prevent your microphone from picking up game audio.
Alongside the new online features, we've also updated the game's visuals to improve its overall atmosphere.
Reworked room lighting to better reflect Puck'n Hell's dark setting.
Updated the overall look and atmosphere of the game's environments.
Improved the visual presentation throughout the demo.
