Hungry Horrors is 20% off from 12 to 19 October, and there are a few reasons for it this week.
The 1.0 launch on 13 October. Hungry Horrors 1.0 arrives that day with 8 biomes across the British Isles, 34 Horrors, 62 dishes and 13 legendary characters. You can play it as the Campaign story mode or the shorter, harder Banquet roguelike mode.
Steam Cooking Fest, a showcase of cooking games on Steam. In Hungry Horrors you can cook plenty of different British and Irish recipes, real ones that you can still find in pubs around the British Isles.
Roguelike Celebration 2026, celebrating roguelikes of every kind. We are very happy to join the sale with our roguelike and roguelite deckbuilder.

The Cozy After Dark Showcase, for games that are dark and cosy at the same time. That is exactly the mood of Hungry Horrors: very Halloween, where a princess, cooking, fishing and cute familiars meet ravenous monsters from British and Irish legends.

If you have not tried it yet, here is the idea. A ravenous curse has turned the monsters of British and Irish legend into Hungry Horrors. You play the Princess, who would much rather stay in bed. Instead of fighting the Horrors, you cook and serve them dishes to feed them before they reach you. It is a turn based deckbuilding adventure with no time pressure, whimsical music and a colourful 90s look. Thank you to everyone who has played and shared feedback since Early Access. It has shaped the game, and we are grateful.
