Hey everyone,
Version 1.3 is now live on Steam! In this update, we reworked backend systems to run directly through Steam and offline storage instead of external web servers. This fixes leaderboard loading issues and improves performance and save reliability across the board.
What's changed in v1.3:
• Native Steam Leaderboards: Migrated global profit and ROI rankings directly onto Steamworks so scores track reliably without relying on third-party servers.
• Steam Cloud & Save Reliability: Save data and profiles now sync directly through Steam Cloud and local storage, preventing save stalls.
• Local Promo Code Verification: Promo codes now validate instantly in-game and store with your local save profile.
• In-Engine Market & News Simulation: Shifted news catalysts and market updates to generate procedurally in-engine, removing unnecessary background network calls and speeding up game loading.
• General stability fixes and minor UI cleanup.
