Hi, store owners! Update 1.2.5 adds a complete Pre-Owned Market, lets you continue your store into unlimited Legacy years, and brings new reports, progression, sound, presentation, and controller improvements.
Starting on Year 1 Day 25, place a Pre-Owned Drop Bin to welcome customers who want to sell products from their own collections. Inspect each opened product, judge its condition, and negotiate an offer—the seller knows what their item is really worth, so careful appraisal matters.
Assess opened products as Poor, Fair, Good, or Mint, with Sealed New games verified automatically.
Negotiate using suggested offers, custom amounts, and seller counteroffers.
Merchandise your purchases on the new Pre-Owned Game Shelf and Pre-Owned Console Display.
Set individual used prices and review condition, rarity, market estimates, comparable sales, and potential margins.
Follow Pre-Owned performance through new Store Report summaries and detailed breakdowns.
Every purchased item remains an individual copy with its own condition and history, from the seller's hands to your display and its eventual checkout.
Reaching the end of the regular product timeline no longer has to end your store. You can continue directly into Legacy Year 1, carrying your inventory, layout, customers, reports, and Pre-Owned products with you. Legacy continues in normal 50-day years without a gameplay year limit. At the end of each year, a new Year in Review summarizes your store's finances, sales, customers, staff, products, and market activity. You can also browse previous yearly reports and compare complete adjacent years. Annual inflation now updates operating expenses such as rent, utilities, wages, and repairs. A dedicated report clearly shows what changed, while product prices remain tied to their authored historical periods.
Customers now carry bags fitted directly to their character models, with distinct bags for Pre-Owned sellers and improved carrying animations.
New store ambience and interaction sounds cover footsteps, shopping bags, the entrance bell, open/closed sign, register drawer, flyers, store expansions, product pickups, lighting, and more.
Master Dario joins Maze Muncher as a hireable mascot once the Mintenbo 8Bs is released. Only one mascot can work at a time.
Product inspection and previews now have improved framing, lighting, rotation, panning, zoom, and consistent Catalog and timeline presentation.
Paid Pre-Owned sales now contribute to the new Pre-Owned products sold community statistic and unlock new achievements:
Second Life — Complete your first paid Pre-Owned sale.
Circular Economy — Complete 25 paid Pre-Owned sales.
Bin There, Sold That — Sell 100 products from Bargain Bins.
The new systems include mouse, keyboard, gamepad, and Steam Deck-friendly navigation, along with additional interface and readability improvements throughout reports, inspection, and negotiation. All player-facing additions are localized in English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish. Existing saves remain supported and can continue into the new systems without restarting.
Work has already begun on Update 1.2.6, which is currently in active development. Its main new feature will be Arcade Rentals: contact Planet Arcade, rent playable cabinets for your store, set the price per play, collect the coins they generate, and manage repairs or returns. The planned opening lineup includes Paddle Rally Arcade, Maze Muncher Arcade, and Galactic Force Arcade, supported by their own customer activity, reports, and store-management systems. We will share more as 1.2.6 moves closer to release, and details may still change during development.
