Oxblood walls, two rows of black leather recliners on a riser, a masked projection screen up to 135", caged lantern sconces, a crimson carpet, and a room full of the genre's furniture: a porcelain doll on a crate, a grinning clown head on its pedestal, a patch of carved pumpkins lit from inside, a skull resting on a stack of old books, and a display niche with a few things you'd rather not pick up.

The bias light behind the screen runs in Dynamic mode by default, so the wall breathes with whatever's playing. The poster frames flanking the screen and along the side walls fill themselves from your own library — horror titles only — and fall back to original art if your library has none.Pick your row. Turn the sconces down. Press play. Also in this update

  • Cup holders on every recliner (and a drink in yours).

  • The Horror room has its own settings — screen size, posters, sconces, niche, audio rig, carpet, rug, bias light, seat row — independent of Home Zen.

Horror is available now on the default branch. Find it in Configure environment, the VR preview screen, or the in-headset env picker.
