We’d like to share the update details for Neon Sector 0.0.6.1. Training Room - Character Training System Added

You can now install a Training Room in the Hideout.
In the Training Room, you can train your characters to make them stronger.
Skills are divided into two categories: Survival and Combat, and learning skills consumes Bits.
Survival mainly focuses on character stats, while Combat includes various weapon-related skills.
The Training Room can be upgraded up to Level 4, and each level unlocks new skills to learn.- Some skills may have their values adjusted for balance, or may be replaced with different skills.2. Unique Weapons AddedFollowing Rare weapons, Unique weapons have now been added.
One Unique weapon has been added for each of the following categories: melee weapon, pistol, submachine gun, rifle, shotgun, and sniper rifle.2-1) Unique Melee Weapon - SaberSword
A futuristic saber sword designed for swift and precise close-range attacks.2-2) Unique Pistol - PX7
A lightweight handgun built for precision, delivering high-velocity fire with remarkable control.2-3) Unique Submachine Gun - Havoc-45
Built on a proven SMG platform, this special variant was redesigned for greater firepower and suppression.2-4) Unique Rifle - Vanguard
A special assault rifle refined for precise control and stable sustained fire.2-5) Unique Shotgun - Ironwood
A classic-looking shotgun with a specially engineered core for overwhelming close-range power.2-6) Unique Sniper Rifle - Longwatch
A specially tuned marksman rifle built for precise fire and decisive long-range shots.These weapons can be obtained at a low chance by defeating enemies or opening chests. They can also be purchased at Shop Level 3 or crafted at Workbench Level 3.2-7) Materials required for crafting Rare and Unique weapons have been added.

4. Titanium - Unique materialThese materials can also be obtained by defeating enemies or opening chests, purchased from Shop Level 2-3, or crafted at Workbench Level 2-3.

3. Story Added at the Start of Your First Neon Sector Game

We’re planning to gradually add more of the story step by step.

3-1) After creating a save file and starting the game, you can now view a brief introduction to the story of Neon Sector.

3-2) The quest NPC’s name has been changed to Rex, and a dialogue window will now appear during interaction.

3-3) Rex’s quest title and content have been changed.

4. Convenience Updates and Changes4-1) Neon Sector has been migrated from Unreal Engine 5.7 to 5.8. Because of this, some in-game issues may occur, so please contact us if you discover any problems.4-2) In windowed mode, the game window can no longer be resized by dragging its edges.4-3) The Hideout map has been slightly adjusted, and the Hideout spawn location has been changed.4-4) Swinging melee weapons now consumes stamina. The stamina cost is 10, and stamina begins to recover about 1 second after swinging.4-5) Recoil and bullet spread for all firearms have been increased.

4-6) Movement Speed has been added to the Character window, and a new UI has been added to check the skills you have learned.
You can click Survival or Combat skills to view the skills you have acquired.

4-7) Weapon item descriptions and equipment information have been reorganized by category, and RPM information has been added for each weapon.4-8) Descriptions for some key items have been revised.4-9) The selling price of valuable items has been increased, and the purchase prices of equipped gear in the shop have been adjusted.4-10) A loading screen will now appear when moving to the Hideout at the start of the game.4-11) A melee hit effect has been added when melee weapons strike targets.4-12) Troopers and Burst Troopers now have a mechanic that allows them to track the player when the player hides behind walls or buildings.

4-13) In raids, pressing the Main Menu or Quit Game button will now display a confirmation popup first.4-14) During multiplayer, if the host disappears, the game will no longer disconnect immediately, and a popup will be shown instead.


5. Bug Fixes5-1) Fixed an issue in the Shooting Range where reloading would fully refill ammo regardless of how much ammunition the player actually had in their inventory.5-2) Fixed an issue where the names of some craftable equipment items at the Workbench were incorrectly displayed as “Drick.”5-3) Fixed an issue in the Hideout where right-clicking an item in the inventory and pressing the Store button would fail to move it to storage and instead display the message: “Invalid inventory operation.”5-4) Fixed an issue where some self-destruct drones did not spawn in the Cyber City boss zone.Thank you.
