An Important Update on Construction Simulator: Evolution

Hello Construction Crew,

Today, we want to share an important update about the future of Construction Simulator: Evolution.

Since the announcement of the game, we have communicated that Construction Simulator: Evolution would release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S at the same time. Following our recent playtest and a careful review of the feedback we received, astragon Entertainment and weltenbauer. have jointly decided to adjust this release plan.

Construction Simulator: Evolution will launch in Early Access on Steam first. The full release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S will follow at a later date.

The playtest gave us many valuable and encouraging insights into the game and showed us where we can make an already strong foundation even better. Based on that feedback, we want to use the next phase of development to work more closely with you and make sure we focus on the areas that matter most to our community.

Building the future of the game together

First of all, thank you to everyone who participated in the playtest, shared feedback, reported issues, and told us what you enjoyed.

Your feedback gave us much more than a list of individual improvements. It helped us better understand where we can refine the experience and which details deserve additional attention as we continue developing Construction Simulator: Evolution.

Early Access gives us the opportunity to turn that feedback into an ongoing conversation.

By launching on Steam in Early Access first, we will be able to provide updates more frequently, gather feedback throughout development, and set the right priorities together with the community. Some features and content will be introduced over time, while selected additions may also become available in beta versions first so that we can gather feedback before their full integration.

We have already invested several years into Construction Simulator: Evolution, and a substantial part of the experience is already in place. This next phase is therefore primarily about refining features, improving important details, and continuing to polish the overall experience together with you.

For us, Early Access is not a compromise. It is an opportunity to involve the community more closely and make Construction Simulator: Evolution an even stronger game on the road toward full release.

What this means for console players

Construction Simulator: Evolution remains fully planned for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The adjusted release approach means that the console versions will arrive alongside the full PC release. The work and feedback gathered throughout Early Access will directly contribute to the experience that ultimately comes to consoles.

We know many of you are already looking forward to playing Construction Simulator: Evolution on console, and we greatly appreciate your continued support. Our goal is to use this additional development phase wisely and bring you a complete and polished experience at full release.

We will continue sharing more about Early Access, upcoming updates, and how your feedback is influencing the development of Construction Simulator: Evolution.

Thank you for your passion, your feedback, and for joining us on this journey. We are looking forward to building the next chapter of Construction Simulator together with you. Your Construction Simulator Team 👷
