Furniture Assembler Simulator Demo update 0.5.1

This update focuses on improving existing features, enhancing QOL, and fixing bugs.

List of changes:

  • Reordered assembly mode action hints

  • Disabled global illumination on max graphics level as it does not give noticeable visual improvement

  • Removed auto-rotation of assembly to original orientation when lifted for more natural assembly manipulation

  • Entering and exiting assembly mode transitions the camera in a more natural way to keep look direction stable and avoid unintentional camera rotation

  • Every time a camera focuses on a new part in assembly mode, its angle and zoom are reset to default values to help maintain a comfortable focused part view

  • Replaced part focus outline with a highlight as it is too thick for small parts

  • Added the full game features list to the end screen

  • Added "Lift to rotate" hint to unreachable markers

  • Markers are hidden now when assembly is lifted

  • Added separate input hints for assembly manipulation while lifted

  • Lifted assembly is automatically dropped when something else is picked up

  • Fix: Cabinet placement falling off sometimes

  • Fix: Weird camera rotation at some angles

  • Fix: Unstable physics

  • Fix: Wrong first part center when rotating lifted assembly

  • Fix: Fastener markers are visible outside assembly mode

  • Fix: Camera auto-look at focused part should not fight player rotating camera

  • Fix: Tool should not change when focusing inactive fasteners

It was a chill experience with no challenge at all. But the original game idea was more chaotic than that. The plan was for players to search for the next part to place, like in real life. And many negative game reviews saying that the…Steam news20 May 2026Furniture Assembler Simulator Demo update v0.4.0Furniture Assembler Simulator Demo update v0.4.0 It has already been a month since the demo release. You've left a lot of valuable feedback, and I've immediately fixed some of the most annoying issues that didn't require much work, like the lack of a click-and-hold tool action. I also went through all the reviews and watched all the demo videos I could find, carefully taking notes. The biggest…
