Hello. This is Ascend to ZERO team.

We sincerely apologize to all Ascenders who have been greatly inconvenienced by PC freezes and forced shutdowns (crashes) occurring during gameplay.

Ascend to ZERO team is continuously monitoring reported cases and error data in order to resolve these issues as quickly as possible. In particular, we have designated crashes that prevent players from continuing the game normally as our highest-priority issue and are actively investigating their causes and working on fixes. We will do our utmost to provide a stability patch as soon as possible so that you can enjoy the game in a smoother and more stable environment.

If frequent crashes are preventing you from playing the game smoothly, we recommend trying the settings below.

[DirectX 11 Settings]

  1. Open your Steam Library.

  2. Right-click Ascend to ZERO, then select Properties.

  3. In the General tab, find Launch Options.

  4. Enter one of the following commands.

    • -d3d11

    • -dx11

  5. Close the Properties window and relaunch the game.

[Disable GPU-Accelerated Rendering]

  1. From the [Steam] menu in the upper-left corner of the Steam client, select [Settings].

  2. Go to the [Interface] tab in the left-hand menu.

  3. Uncheck the "Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views" option.

  4. Click OK, then restart the Steam client.

If the same issue persists after applying the methods above, please submit a report through Discord or the Form, including your PC specifications such as your graphics card, driver version, and OS version. This information will greatly assist us in conducting a detailed analysis of the cause.

We will continue to provide updates on our progress and the schedule for a permanent fix through future announcements.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused while playing the game. We will continue doing our utmost to provide a more stable and enjoyable gameplay environment.
