All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

Some quick updates following the successful and trouble free Steam launch. Thanks to everyone that downloaded and played. It was good to see some new players and old faces online and joining the discord.

Here are the changes in 2.01:

New Features

  • Dedicated server: Enhanced info command to show AI overrun percentages, game simulation/network processing time when no AI bots loaded as well as player IP addresses.
  • Dedicated server: Kick command now allows removing AI players.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed game clients getting into a permanent resync/disconnect state when a tank died and the explosion landed on a base, also added additional server logging for similar future issues
  • Players connected to servers running with -nolobby setting no longer see return to lobby / surrender items.
  • Fixed a crash caused when a LGM dies at same time that the player is leaving the game.
  • macOS - Change to make Brainslist also appear selectable in the lobby and not just the players menu.

Known issues

There is a crash occurring some times on window resizing on macOS due to interactions with the Steam overlay. The plan for the next release is to resolve this issue. In the meantime it can be worked around by disabling the steam overlay by getting properties on the game in steam and deselecting "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game"
