Hey everyone!

First of all, I want to give a huge thanks to everyone who's purchased and playtested Eavor during the Early Access so far - it really means a lot, and I'm thankful for all the feedback I've gotten! :D

(If you'd like to leave feedback, please checkout my Discord server, which isn linked in game)

Anyway, here are the patch notes!

  • Wave spawning system was reworked and balanced HEAVILY. Difficulty increase is now more consistent

  • Enemies can now spawn with all of a single type of augment, which gives them the added bonus of having a unique prefix to their name... See if you can find them all!

  • Smoothed weapon trail visual effects

  • Title screen logo is now pixelated to match the game's style

  • Reduced ALL stats. This should make the game feel more impactful

  • Reduced cost of chests, and cost ratio of multi-chests

  • Removed damage buff while rolling

  • Increased roll distance, and improved the feel of dodging

  • Weapon boosting no longer snaps to nearest 45° angle

  • Reduced the base speed of the player (NOTE: This is to help discourage 'kiting', which will continue to be balanced to make combat more interesting)

  • Reduced the player's base max stamina

  • Improved descriptions of all items

  • Optimized audio manager code (there was a slight memory leak)

  • Health bars are now visible for longer after damaging an enemy

  • Interact label theme was updated

  • Increased number of chests that spawn per stage

  • Reduced spawn rate of multi chests (30% -> 20%)

  • Changed how spry feather scales stats

  • Reduced the duration of the Sticky Honey debuff

  • Heavily polished notification panel and sound design

  • Updated augment description hover panel theme

  • Artistic outlines are more consistent

  • Changed Deconsecration base activation rate from 0.01% per stack to 0.005% per stack

  • Added a stun effect to most enemies that can be triggered by successfully parrying attacks

  • Greatsword:

    • Increased damage of all attacks

    • Blocking reduces damage by a smaller amount, and reduces your stamina when attacked (based on the percentage of HP you lost)

  • Lance:

    • Can now chain from spin attack into chain stabs

    • Updated sound effects

  • Scythe:

    • Added a new weapon, the Scythe!

    • There are currently 3 scythe variations, but more will obviously be added in the future!

  • Buffed haunted hatchet damage GREATLY

  • Buffed crow cloak damage GREATLY

  • Increased damage of Illusory Shroom

  • Reduced critical rate of all enemies

  • Reworked and buffed Noxious Root

  • Barkling:

    • Barklings now retreat to heal once their health reaches 30% or less (previously 60%)

    • Increased speed

    • Removed slow/speedy variations

  • Birch Barkling:

    • Birch Barklings now retreat to heal once their health reaches 10% or less (previously 30%)

    • Increased speed

    • Removed slow/speed variations

    • Increased projectile speed (also affects Bakunawa Soul augment)

    • Added a claw attack

    • Increased cooldown of projectile attack

  • Ashen Bakunawa:

    • Added Ashen Bakunawa, which has more movement speed, and favors claw attacks
