The History of Battleworks

With Giants towering over the battlefield, Soldiers needed the means to combat them beyond deploying their own Giants. It’s from these efforts that Battleworks were created.

Battleworks are various earthworks, vehicles, and tactical deployments available to every Giant and the Soldiers under their command. They include Trenches, deployable Giantslayer Bunkers, damage-soaking Ironclads, airship-based Soldier Drops, and more.

You can order them to be constructed nearby to your Giant at any time, as long as you have enough supplies. Be aware that Battleworks are vulnerable to damage while being built.

Supplies

Battleworks cost supplies to deploy, a resource you collect on the Battlefield. Use your supplies wisely and make sure you have enough, as the cost of each Battlework varies.

Battleworks

Soldier Drop

Call in an airship loaded with Soldier reinforcements, selecting their landing destination.

The amount of Soldiers in the drop scales with your Max Rally size.

Trench

Dig chainable Trenches across the battlefield filled with friendly Soldiers. When a nearby Giant orders a charge, entrenched Soldiers will move to the command. Nearby unrallied Soldiers automatically fill gaps and crew the Trenches upon contact.

Trenches are extremely effective at countering enemy Soldier charges, so build them strategically to protect your Giant and Outposts.

Giantslayer Bunker

Deploy a defensive gunnery bunker that attacks enemy units and Giants within it’s targeting cone, including Siege Dozer and Ironclad tanks.

Ironclad

Call in an armored tank that moves down the lane. Ironclad draw fire from enemy Outposts and Bastions, gaining additional survivability when near them, and allowing your friendly Giants and Soldiers to move in to attack.

Cavalry

Send forth a charge of Cavalry units. This charge is powerful against Trenches and Soldiers and slows enemy Giants. The amount of Cavalry scales with your Max Rally stat, and the more Cavalry you land on a Giant, the more potent the slow effect.

Sovereign Gun

The Sovereign Gun is a legendary Battlework, received when killing A.M.S. Abomination and retrieving its salvage. This dangerous piece of siege technology targets defensive buildings, like Outposts and Bastions within its range. The Sovereign Gun can even pierce through the shields of a Bastion, letting you destroy one from a distance.
