Goblin's Die · published · build 25249105

Greetings, goblins! Your friends are busy? Your friends don't own the game? Your friends are, frankly, tired of you? Good news: you don't need them anymore! Public sessions are live. You can now browse open games and join other goblins from around the world, or host your own and let whoever wanders in help out. Or help themselves. How it works
- Join: Browse games and join easily from the main menu
- Host: Set your session to public and pick a name. Add a password if you only want certain goblins getting in.
- Stay in control: Hosts can kick and ban. Everyone can mute other players or switch chat off completely in the settings.
- Report: If someone ruins the fun, you can report them in-game. Reports come straight to us.
Next, into the actual patch notes: So this update comes with aforementioned public games, some main menu UX tweaks, three new smaller dungeons and some general goblin polish. Main thing:
You can now host and join public games - this of course opens up a can of worms, so we have also implemented some tools for this.
First off you need to Opt in into chat with strangers, if you wish to see public messages
You can mute individual players
You can kick and ban players if need be
And report messages to us
You may also add passwords to your public games
Save file compatability - Multiplayer and single player save files are compatible with each others. Meaning you can start out a SP game and later on play the same save with friends. And vice versa.
Due to public games we've also updated the Terms of Servce
Other Stuff:
Three new smaller dungeon locations to explore. One in the Ruins. One in the Deserted Farmhouse. And one in the Crawler Cave.
Two new armor sets.
General level polish and conf fixes.
Come tell us how your first public run went on Discord, and see you in the wilds! Goblin out! ^~_~^
