CURE - A Hospital Simulator · published · build 25350800

Hey there Doctors! and so, summer is over, autumn is slowly creeping in, and we have another massive update to help you better run the ER. The highlight of this major update is the addition of a new category of employees to your Med-Hire catalog: Nurses.
3 nurses are available for you to hire in the town of Mercy: The bubbly Kelly Bandage, the rugged Victor Pulse, and the dry witted, incredibly professional Martha Graves.
Nurses unlock at ER level 7, so make sure you upgrade to get the help you deserve.
The other major improvements in this version adds a much bigger variety to your Doctor Customization: Hair colors & styles, Eye colors and a bunch of apparel options are now available either from the main game menu or by tapping on the closet near the body freezer.
Here are the full details for this major update:
A new Hired Help type -- Nurses! Hire Kelly Bandage, Victor Pulse, and Martha Graves to help out in your hospital. Nurses can carry out the following tasks:
Organize: Nurses will take empty boxes to the trash, and bring boxes into the hospital and place them on the shelves (more on that in a moment!)
Treat: Nurses will perform stethoscope and blood pressure diagnostics, and administer some over-the-counter healing items. These items are marked in both Med-Supply and on the box.
This version also adds an entirely new set of medical shelves! When you place a crate on these shelves, they will automatically be designated to the category of that crate (for example, if you place an Ibuprofen crate on a shelf the sign on top will change to "Painkillers"). Nurses will then know to place only painkillers on that shelf.
The old shelves will no longer be available in the store, but will be fully refunded when recycled!
New player customization options! You can now edit hairstyle, hair color, eye color, shoe color, as well as change the colors of your scrub top and pants separately. Choose from textures and even your Twitch or Steam icon for even more unique options.
Changes to multiplayer permissions:
Move Supply Boxes is now separate from Move Furniture -- based on community feedback!
Expanded hospital renaming permission to all text-editable items (signs, chairs, beds, etc)
Added a new floor material that matches the starting floor, just in case you're feeling nostalgic for that sterile white tile.
Added a Steam session validation failure fallback, which should fix bugs where players are stuck in loading screen
New diagnostic VFX and sound effects
New item sounds
New jump/land sounds
Added new VFX for cured patients
Added new lollipop sound effects. One of the devs really wanted you to know about this one.
Custodians now spawn with their own mop and cleaning spray -- no more dropping them everywhere! These items cannot be retrieved from the NPC, and do not need to be replenished.
The shopping cart on the computer will now retain the order when closing out of the computer -- a change made based on community feedback!
Some changes to Hired Help level unlocks. NOTE: If you already have one of these NPCs hired and are below their new level, you will keep them, but if they are fired, you cannot get them back until you reach their new required level.
