CRUMB Circuit Simulator · published
I have been super busy posting on Facebook with new developments and features and have neglected to keep everyone up to date here!
CRUMB 2.0 is shaping up nicely and has the potential to become the single most powerful and accessible electronics simulator!
But first to answer a consistently asked question:
Yes. And let me introduce to CRUMB Advanced.
To those who already own the original CRUMB (this one) before the new store page goes live for CRUMB Advanced (2.0) you will automatically receive the new version for free at release 🤩
Why am I doing this? Because CRUMB (this one) fell short of my original vision and I had some issues early on that everyone was so patient with. Advanced (2.0) started development as an update for CRUMB (this one), but I soon found that there was nothing left of the original and that it really does supersede it.
Many of you have asked to offer something in return for the generosity and I will set a little something up for those that are interested in donating to the project ❤️
I have not found a limit yet. I am constantly testing out new circuits and aiming for real world parity. If it works in real life... it works in CRUMB.
I have put together a short list of some of the thing it can do:
Megahertz level simulation speed in certain configurations
Huge built in starter library
Full editable components + creation and Workshop integration
FFT analysis, true Oscilloscope and multimeter.
Fully emulated Microcontrollers from a variety of families. Arduino, ESP32, Pi + more
Built-in IDE for component logic and microcontroller code
Rigidbody Physics. Build robots
Environmental Physics. Create scenarios for sensors.
Field physics. Bluetooth and WiFi simulated for Microcontrollers such as ESP32
Low latency audio input for the real time processing of analog signals.
Run Doom.
Windows, Linux and macOS native support
So much more...
I will provide some more updates in due course, but let me leave you with some screenshots of some of the awesome things it can do at the moment! Plus, if you want to see me playing live through the guitar... Live guitar through CRUMB
