Feedback & News #6

Toy Keeper · published 3 Aug 2026, 17:40 UTC

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

First of all, thank you once again to everyone who has supported Toy Keeper, shared feedback, updated a previous review, or taken the time to leave a positive one.

Toy Keeper has now surpassed 5,000 copies sold and more than 120 positive reviews.

This means a lot to us, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who continues supporting the game and its development.

For the first time since we started publishing these Feedback & News posts, we are happy to say that the latest player comments have not focused on major issues that need to be fixed. Instead, the feedback has been entirely about ideas and improvements for the game, which makes us very happy to see.

New map development

As previously announced, we have been working on the next map.

The map itself and all of its new toys are now complete.

We do not want to share screenshots yet, as we would prefer players to see everything properly when the update launches.

When this update is released, we will complete two additional roadmap milestones, adding the Astronaut Baby milestone.

We hope to release this update very soon.

Progressive Endless Mode

The new Progressive Endless Mode will allow players to place toys infinitely, floor by floor.

Once a floor is completed, a new one will appear above it, allowing the game to continue without a fixed ending.

The mode will include leaderboards for:

  • Toys placed

  • Floors completed

  • Each individual map

  • Global rankings

  • Weekly rankings

New map content

The new map will include:

  • A completely new set of themed toys

  • New perks

  • New achievements

  • New decorations and environmental elements

  • Full compatibility with every existing game mode

The intention is for all current game modes to remain available across every map.

Steam Deck

For players who continue experiencing issues on Steam Deck, we have now selected the WASD controller template as the default base configuration.

This is the template that Steam Deck players have most consistently reported as working correctly.

Please let us know whether this solves the issue for you.

Hold E placement

We are also bringing back the option to hold E to place toys automatically and release items directly from boxes.

This improvement will also be included in Update 0.5.

Mass Placement improvements

We are also adding two important improvements that will significantly enhance gameplay in Mass Placement Mode.

Placement Multiplier

New perks will allow players to multiply their placement speed by:

  • x2

  • x3

  • x5

  • x10

These perks are designed to make higher toy-count modes faster and more manageable.

Free placement orientation

Players will also be able to place toys using different orientations.

This will make it easier to use shelf space efficiently and organize products in the way that best fits each shelf.

Both of these improvements will be included in Update 0.5.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported Toy Keeper, shared feedback, written reviews, and helped the game reach more than 5,000 sales and 120 positive reviews.

We are very excited to show you the new map and everything coming with the next major update.
