After solving an Investigation board, the Suspects panel now becomes a Murder Weapon panel. Choose from illustrated weapon cards with their categories shown, using the mouse, Q/E + Enter, or LB/RB + A on controller. You can still select a weapon directly on the board. The Furniture panel also becomes a Weapons reference during this phase, including clear explanations of each weapon type.
Hold H on keyboard or LT on controller to temporarily hide weapons, room labels, and the victim’s name. This is enabled by default — no settings toggle required.
The control legend now adapts to Steam Input controller overrides and glyphs when available. RT opens the Clue Guide, while the legend updates to reflect Investigation weapon-selection controls.
The game now defaults to Godot’s Compatibility renderer, using an OpenGL 3.3 desktop baseline for broader GPU support.
In Investigation mode, suspects can share the victim’s room, but can no longer be placed on the victim’s exact cell.
Room labels draw above character labels, while character nameplates now sit higher inside their cells to avoid overlaps.
