Thank you as always for your support of OMEGA PHENEX.
We're excited to announce that OMEGA PHENEX has been selected as one of the SELECTED INDIE 80 titles and will be exhibited at Tokyo Game Show 2026, running from September 17 to 21!
At our booth, you'll be able to try out new gameplay options we're considering, take on the EX DUEL — unavailable during the Open Beta Test — and pick up brand-new merchandise.
You'll find us at Hall 9, E-05 — we'd love to see you there if you're attending TGS!
EX DUEL: Unclock
Face off against Unclock, a brand-new Icarus not featured in the Open Beta Test. This mech was implemented as the grand prize from a past video clip contest, built from the design of the winning player's own custom mech.
It's an extremely powerful opponent — its signature triple-shot grenade cannon in particular packs devastating firepower. Maintaining high mobility to evade its attacks will be the key to victory.
A special prize awaits anyone who manages to defeat it, so we welcome all confident pilots to take on the challenge.
If you'd rather skip Unclock, missions equivalent to those from the Open Beta Test will also be available to play.
New Control Options
We'll be offering a simplified control scheme for aiming and firing, designed primarily for players less familiar with 3D action or shooting games.
The traditional control scheme will, of course, remain fully available as well.
*Please note these new options are still under consideration and testing — they may change or may not be included in the final release.
We'll be giving out the following newly designed items on-site. Please note that all items are limited in quantity and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
T-Shirt
A T-shirt featuring Big Smith's mech, Angela, along with one of his iconic lines witch translates to: "I need to blow off some steam. Drop dead."
The OMEGA PHENEX logo is printed on the back as well.
This item will be given exclusively to players who defeat the powerful EX DUEL opponent, Unclock, at the booth.
Stickers & Can Badges
Stickers featuring various Icarus machines from the game, along with can badges featuring the OMEGA PHENEX and developer circle logos.
These will be distributed to visitors who can show proof of having wishlisted OMEGA PHENEX on Steam, or proof of following the creator's official X account — one of each, up to two items total.
