Over 400 Wishlists. Thank You!

Tokioriki has passed 400 wishlists on Steam.

Thank you to everyone who found the store page, added the game to their wishlist, or played the free demo.

Since passing 200 wishlists, even more people have found this story. Every wishlist is a real source of encouragement as we continue toward the full release.

We are currently focusing on Chapter 5, refining its presentation scene by scene. We are reviewing CG illustrations, character expressions, sound cues, and dialogue timing so that each moment carries the right emotional weight.

For scenes with choices, we are also checking each branch and its conditions one by one. Many of these changes are subtle, but they matter if the finished story is to feel consistent from beginning to end.

Demo Version 2 — Planned for Mid-September 2026

We plan to update the currently available demo and re-release it as Demo Version 2 around mid-September 2026.

Version 2 adds blinking and lip-sync animation for the characters, along with improvements to the underlying systems.

Because of these system changes, save data from Demo Version 1 will not be compatible with Version 2. If you have already started Version 1, you will need to begin a new game after updating. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We will announce the exact release date once preparations are complete.

The free demo includes the Prologue through the first half of Chapter 1.

The full version is planned for release on Steam in February 2027.

Thank you for continuing to follow Tokioriki.

Thank you to everyone who found the store page, added the game to their wishlist, or played the free demo. Tokioriki begins with a single old book, and we are continuing development so that this story can reach players in a form that stays with them. Right now, we are editing character expression variations so they support blinking and mouth movement…
