πΏ New β weed content is now optional
Several of you told us this side of the game wasn't for you. It isn't going away, but it is no longer forced on anyone.
β’ A "Weed content" option has been added under Settings β Gameplay. It is on by default: if the game suits you as it is, there is nothing to do
β’ Turned off, it removes that side of the game: no more seeds in the shop, nothing to grow, grind or roll on that side, no customers asking for it, and the tutorial adjusts accordingly
β’ The store, the tobacco and the lottery don't change one bit
πΎ Your stock no longer vanishes when you load a save
β’ Seed packets on a shelf could show a count while the shelf itself was empty: you couldn't use them, and the first click dropped the counter to zero and wiped the whole stock. Fixed
β’ Cigarette packs are now saved: they keep their contents, on a shelf and anywhere else
β’ Same fix for joints and cigarettes you had put up for sale
π§Ύ Your invoices no longer come back from the dead
β’ Invoices no longer depend on the computer: move it, put it away, relocate β your history follows
β’ Relocating no longer re-bills days you already paid at the old place
β’ Ghost invoices already sitting in your save are cancelled on the next launch, without charging you a cent
πΏ No more employees turned to stone
An employee could freeze for good in the middle of a task. Nothing brought them back: not the end of the day, not the next morning.
β’ A stuck employee gets back to work on their own
β’ Fixed for the restocker, the bartender, the cashier and the parcel desk worker
β’ Selling or moving a shelf while a restocker is working on it no longer freezes them
π¦ What you drop on the floor stays on the floor
β’ Products dropped on the ground (F key) are finally saved: full or opened packs, cigarettes, and every other product
β’ A product picked up off the floor no longer evaporates in your hands: it used to fall through the scenery forever while you thought you were holding it
π¬ Crafting
β’ Cigarettes in a refilled pack are visible again: they were coming back at a hundredth of their size
β’ New β place a full pack with G, exactly like an opened one: aim, turn with the mouse wheel, left click to confirm
π±οΈ Quality of life and interface
β’ Large box shelf: the "take a box" action finally shows up with empty hands, and the slot you are aiming at is the one that responds, not the one below it
β’ Lottery: the payout button on a winning ticket can no longer do nothing, and the first-payout warning can no longer lock up your game
