Todays patch addresses some of the complaints about the difficulty of a particular early game boss, "The Brain", as well as difficulty across the game with some minor re-balancing. Full patch notes are below:
Brain re-balanced. 2nd phase telegraphs attack pattern better, 4th phase shoots slightly slower.
Fixed major bug where player bullets would occasionally phase through enemies and bosses
Extra life and "Bonus" award a shield as well in all game modes. This allows shields to be earned in Story Mode.
High score Name Input now remembers your initials
Wiped down CRT, it was looking blurry. Found flat panel CRT in the back and installed it as well.
Fixed issue with Japanese translation using "song written year" value as "song name". The game is still NOT translated! But it at least will show the English song name now.
