New Keyboard Shortcut Settings

This has been a highly requested feature and took quite some time to develop. You can now customize keyboard shortcuts both in-app and globally. The available options are extensive: Play/Pause, Previous Track, Next Track, Stop, Volume Up, Volume Down, Show Main Window, Hide Main Window, Show Desktop Lyrics, Hide Desktop Lyrics; as well as in-app specific shortcuts like Back, Search, and Refresh Library—all easily configurable.

Added Support for Scanning and Playback of APE and OPUS Audio

As excellent audio formats, the new version now supports tag and cover art parsing, as well as playback for APE and OPUS files. Feel free to give them a try.

Compatibility Fix for RTSS v7.3+ in DirectX Mode

When performance monitoring software (RTSS) injects into the app window, it can cause rendering issues. The new version includes the latest compatibility handling and adds a forced option in the rendering settings.

New Pop-up Menu Style

We have refactored the SPC menu style and added support for submenus. As features grow, menus inevitably get longer. Grouping related functions into submenus makes the overall interface more compact and cleaner.

Multi-select Context Menu: Added "Play Selected Queue"

You can now select multiple songs, right-click, and choose "Play Selected Queue" to load them directly into the playback queue.

Added Lab Feature from Android: Staggered Lyrics Scrolling Toggle

You can now enable the staggered scrolling effect for lyrics on the playback screen.

Added Rotation Animation for Circular Album Art and Toggle for Vinyl Disc Base

You can choose whether to enable the rotation animation for circular album covers, as well as independently control the visibility of the vinyl disc base for a more personalized playback interface.

Easier Addition to Playlists

While drag-and-drop remains supported, we’ve added a convenient right-click option: "Add to Playlist."

Optimizations & Fixes

  • Optimized the "Play Next" option by consolidating it into the "Add to Queue" logic.

  • Improved stability when opening Windows Explorer from the app.

  • Optimized buffer configuration for WASAPI output.

  • Reduced memory usage in specific scenarios.

  • Fixed an unintuitive behavior where pressing Esc closed dialog boxes instead of navigating back.

  • Fixed an issue where selection counts were not updated immediately after removing tracks from the library.

  • Fixed crashes on CPUs without AVX instruction sets (e.g., Celeron N5105).

  • Fixed missing lyrics placeholder text not inheriting font weight settings.

  • Fixed delayed refreshing of song list item info.

  • Fixed timestamp gap handling between adjacent characters in word-by-word lyrics parsing.

  • Fixed selection count sync issues on the song page after removing tracks from the library.

  • Fixed abnormal background colors in pop-up layers after disabling multi-layer blur effects.

  • Various other optimizations and bug fixes.
