On July 3rd and 4th, the Neverending Dreams demo will be playable, exclusively and for the very first time, at a videogame event that is very close to my heart. It takes place in my hometown, and I’ve had the opportunity to help organize it for the past two years: Guadalindie!

For those who attend and try out the demo, we’ve prepared exclusive stickers featuring the Trotasueños and the event’s mascot: a water droplet named Goti.

As someone who collaborated on the creation of this event with MalagaJam, a non-profit organization in my city with so many wonderful people, I can only be proud to present my work for the first time in my own hometown, with my friends and all the colleagues I've met at the events we've organized here. I can only thank everyone in this photo for making me a part of something so beautiful that I never imagined finding anywhere else.

At this fair, I've met and spoken with amazing developers I never would have met under other circumstances. Last year, for example, I had the pleasure of meeting the master Keita Takahashi, who came to give a talk about his career. During the event, we were able to exchange a few words and discuss how hard it is to make video games, yet how rewarding it is to use this medium to create them.

As a solodev, being in these environments alongside others who share my circumstances and enthusiasm makes the journey I’m on feel kinder and full of hope. I realize now that, despite developing this videogame on my own, I am more supported than ever thanks to the love of the people who are part of my life.

These past few weeks have been really tough; the accumulated fatigue makes it feel like a whole month has gone by in just a week, yet I am happier than ever. I am really pleased with the demo I’ll be presenting this weekend, and if all goes well, it will be available for you to play here in the upcoming weeks!

Keep dreaming until then.
