Veil of Samhain brings a new Halloween adventure to One More Fishing, with misty lakes, drowned ruins, and creatures drawn from Celtic folklore.
What’s new
• Five new fishing locations, each with its own daytime and nighttime atmosphere, animated scenery, and soundscape.
• 50 new fish: 30 ordinary species and 20 mythical catches.
• Three candy baits: candy corn, caramel apple, and black liquorice.
• Three new characters — Bríd Nolan, Ronan Murrough, and Aisling Crowe — with seven quests each.
• Event objectives, candy rewards, and the Turnip Lantern Amulet.
• A Steam leaderboard tracking your Samhain mythical catches.
How to begin
Check your in-game mailbox for the Samhain route card. It permanently unlocks all five waters, available from level 1.
Visit the Event Center for objectives and rewards, and the event quest section to meet the three characters. Completing the Veil Chain objective earns you candy bait for your first mythical fishing attempts.
Fixes and improvements
• Fixed a source of stuttering when casting.
• Revised interface, quest, and event translations across the supported languages, with particular attention to Polish, German, French, and Simplified Chinese.
• Corrected inconsistent names and text appearing in the wrong language.
• Added full-length portraits and new voice barks for the Samhain characters.
• Fixed an input issue that could leave controls unresponsive after switching away from the game.
