Primitive Shades Part 1 - its final patch

Hey everyone, a quick update on Primitive Shades.

I’m still actively working on improving Part 1 based on the feedback I’ve received since launch.

Right now, my main focus is the difficulty, particularly the chase sequence, which I know has been one of the biggest points of frustration for players.

The patch is still in development, but my goal is to bring the chase from 10 or more attempts down to around 3 attempts on average. I still want the chase to feel tense and challenging, just without reaching the point where frustration starts to take over.

There is still quite a bit of work to do before the patch is ready, but this is intended to be the final major polish and balance pass for Part 1.

That does not mean Part 1 will never receive another update. If bugs or other issues come up in the future, I will of course still work to fix them. I simply mean that after this patch, I do not currently expect Part 1 to need another large scale polish pass like this one.

I really appreciate everyone who has played the game, shared feedback, or given it another chance after the previous update. The feedback has helped me better understand where the experience was not landing the way I intended, and it has been genuinely useful while working on these improvements.

More soon. I want to make sure this update gets it right.
