Stock up on resources and gear: Gather resources and use them to buy new gear from the Village vendors. Purchase weapons, spells, potions and upgrades and become an all-mighty warrior!
Fortify your land: Turn your village into a stronghold designed to keep your enemies at bay. Build tall towers, mighty walls and powerful defense engines that make anyone who dares to invade your home think twice!
Prepare the perfect ambush: Get familiar with your land and place clever traps to decimate enemy armies even before they reach you! Use the environment to your advantage and outsmart your foes!
How is Divine Gambit different from other wave based horde games?
Executors!
Executors are mere tools of the God who come for you and your Village. These vile creatures exist only to bring doom and ruin. They emerge from portals around the Village and summon powerful armies to destroy everything in their path.
The Executors bring additional strategic depth to the challenge. They are much stronger and act as relentless leaders for the hordes of enemies. Here is what they can do:
Spawn squads of enemies and order them to destroy the village.
Stay camouflaged and teleport to the enemy squad closest to their target when it's time to strike.
Sacrifice a squad of their own minions to escape death.
While their armies attack the Village, the Executors relentlessly hunt down the Protectors. This gives the players a unique choice between protecting the Village against the minion onslaught or engaging in perilous combat with the executor and force them to consume their own armies!
No defense plan is perfect. When night falls, battle is inevitable.
Wield powerful weapons. Unleash devastating spells and abilities. Use mighty defenses and clever traps. Alone or with friends, fight back however you can. The Village must survive. And if it does, it'll be one hell of a story worth chanting about.
The sandbox nature of each map provides endless ways of playing. There is no winning strategy. There is no right way to play. The only thing that matters is that you endure the night! Here are some of the things that will make each playthrough unique:
The armies that the Executors spawn are ever changing. You never know who comes for you.
The Executors emerge from different portals during the night. You never know where they come from.
Even the Village changes with each increase in difficulty bringing new challenges. What was there on one difficulty, might not be on another. More portals, new pathways, changing landscape.
Highly customizable playstyle with a vast arsenal of weapons, spells, and abilities, plus four skill trees with over 35 unique and upgradeable skills.
