Cool Feature of the Month

Here's a little slice of life video that shows off a bunch of things you might not have known about.

Some of this stuff has been in the game for a long time. Other things are new. Let's take a quick spin through what we're looking at here...

First, we start off in a house that we've built in-game. It has a bed, a few comfort features (that are important to keep us rested), and a fully upgraded Forge. We even get a brief glimpse of the Build Menu, when we're about to saddle our trusty steed.

We also get a look into the Crafting interface, when we build our armor piece. Note also that the ingredients for Crafting and Building can live in those chests, and we can auto-stack anything we collect into there as well. All the Quality of Life features you'd expect in a modern game are here.

And, of course, we have a pen full of Tame Alpacas. These ones happen to have been fed on crops that we grew in a Farm that lives just offscreen.

Finally, putting it all together, we get to show off Rideable Mounts, of which this guy is just the first.

Alpacas are particularly fun, because they have a Spit Attack. That makes them a (literal) pain to capture and tame, but it also means that they'll defend your base against attackers and Raids. (Did I mention that there are Raids?) And, as you no doubt noticed, they're happy to use that spit attack while you're riding them, thus clearing a swath of destruction everywhere you go.

All this is playable today on the Stravaeger Website. Give it a try. I look forward to hearing your feedback!

Community29 Sep 2026Cool Feature of the Month (October)Been adding a bunch of polish and Quality of Life features over the summer. They don't really lend themselves to video, but some of them are pretty cool. I mentioned last month that you can craft from chests , and auto-stack into them. But did you know that you can SuperStack ? Just position yourself somewhere near your storage area and hit CTRL+Q. That'll set off a chain reaction of opening ev…Community19 Jul 2026Cool Feature of the MonthEverybody who's ever played a video game knows the fundamental rule: They can't chase you up a ladder. They can't chase you out of the dungeon and onto the overworld. You walk out the door and make the game do some loading stuff, and you're safe. That's the rule. I've only seen that rule broken once. Way back in the original Castle Wolfenstien for the Apple II (not the 3d version, but the origi…
