Glass and windows can now be shot through. The glass itself won't break or shatter, but bullets can now hit targets behind glass or windows
Enemies will now shoot through glass instead of trying to find unblocked line of sight if they see a target through a window or glass
The "switching weapon" action and the "use item" action are no longer blocked by the reloading animation. This means you can now cancel the reload animation mid-reload and switch to a different weapon or use medical items, consumables, or grenades
Grenades can now be put in your quick slots. Press the keybind on that quick slot to throw that specific grenade. Pressing G (or your Throw Grenade button) will default to throwing the first grenade found in your quick slots. If you don't have a grenade in your quick slots, it will still throw the first grenade found in your normal inventory slots (which is the same behavior as before this update)
Slightly increased damage on lower tier shotguns to better allow them to 1 shot Runners on Danger Level 1
Buffed all shotguns Effective Range from 10m to 15m and increased all shotguns pellets per shot from 8 to 10. During more playtesting I found that shotguns sometimes lacked a bit of "oomph", so this should help shotguns feel more powerful as a close up option compared to SMG's
The Principal now has a 33% chance to drop the Principal's Office key
Increased drop chance of usable medical items on Survivors
Adjusted lootable object spawn logic so each POI has a much higher chance of spawning appropriate lootable objects. For example, Medical Centers will spawn more medical bags, the Hunting Store will spawn more weapon crates, attachment boxes, and ammo boxes, the Burger Joint spawns more food containers, etc. This should make it easier to farm for specific items or item types. Be sure to look in the right places for any items you may need!
Increased the spawn chance of all loose loot (AKA items that spawn in the world and are not inside a lootable object)
Changed blood splatter effect to be more readable and chunky
Killing shots now apply force to visually knock enemies backwards instead of just ragdolling in place. Heavier caliber weapons knock enemies further back than smaller caliber weapons. This is just for visual "oomph" and doesn't change or add any gameplay mechanics
Changed "Move To Stash" button logic to now move all items including ammo and usable meds to the stash
DEV NOTE: I found that leaving behind your ammo and meds was inconvenient in more cases than it was helpful, so the button now moves all your items to the stash. Remember to grab your meds and ammo for your loadout
Dropped items no longer fall inside enemy bodies and can now be properly picked back up
Dropped items in your base will automatically be added back to your stash when going into a raid (if your stash has room). This should help prevent accidentally loosing or deleting items you forgot to put away or in case you dropped an item in a place you can't reach
You can no longer scrap armor or guns you currently have equipped. This should help prevent accidentally scrapping your gear that you were trying to repair. Simply move the item to your inventory or stash to be able to scrap it
