Hungry Horrors 0.3.3: Banquet Balance and a Bug Fixes

This patch focuses on Banquet mode balance and a fix for the crash some of you have hit after playing for 1-2 hours on Steam Deck and Linux.

Changes and Improvements

• Banquet mode: chests and the sanctuary statue moved to before the cooking station

• Banquet mode: on medium well steak doneness, Horrors now start from level 2 instead of level 3

• Banquet mode: final boss rewards removed

• Banquet mode: Púca takes an additional step

• Banquet mode: balance updates

• Banquet mode and Culinary: slightly more ingredients dropped

• New turn banner animation now plays faster

• Ravenous status now based on the Horror's base hunger

• Horror balance updates

Bug Fixes

• Fixed the game freezing after 1 to 2 hours on Steam Deck and Linux, caused by textures failing to load. Texture caching added, which also gives a small performance boost

• Fixed Portuguese translations showing invalid characters

• Fixed empty rewards being given from nook

• Fixed card hover state sometimes breaking

• Overfeed particles now clamped

• Fixed Marool having negative hunger in Banquet mode on higher steak doneness tiers

• Fixed save scumming breaking when encountering a monster

• Fixed continuing a Banquet mode run stopping the title screen music

• Fixed Butter Dish not working with gold digger

• Fixed Horncup not correctly restoring on discard each turn

• Fixed chest clipping with the cookware chest reward from the bed in town

• Chests in Banquet mode no longer offer a recipe you already have
