The biggest patch of the CS Manager Demo has now been released - 0.6!

Headlines

0.6 includes the official data editor! By far the most requested feature, you can now edit the database as you see fit. Use it to create your own team, alter other teams and set up the game in exactly the way you want to play it. Another highly requested feature that is now in the game is the ability to partly play/simulate matches. Individual maps can now be simulated or played fully at will. Furthermore, several tournaments now have BO5 grand finals. This comes with significant improvements to match engine AI behavior, and much more:

📢 Are based on feedback/reports from the community

Crashes/Freezes

  • 📢Fixed a potential freeze that could occur when withdrawing from a buyout negotiation

Major

  • The official database editor is now available

  • 📢You can now quickly simulate individual maps in the match engine, so you can choose which maps to play fully and which maps not to

  • 📢Some tournaments now have BO5 grand finals (this requires a new career to take effect)

Dashboard

  • Significantly reduced facility costs

  • Adjusted star rating calculations

  • Reduced skill penalties for playing unfavorable roles/maps

  • The tournament debrief email now exclusively shows ranking points/gained lost directly related to the tournament in question

  • You can now visit pages of matches that are not played yet

  • Flipped the colors representing unknown and wasted ability/potential on player stars

  • Made several improvements to match simulation calculations

  • 📢When starting a new career, you now start with the language of your nationality, as well as the language of the team you are coaching

  • 📢When signing a new player with a contractual obligation to play them with an IGL and/or sniper role, an email remind you of their roles and where you can assign them

  • 📢Fixed that teams could sometimes get negative points from winning matches and vice versa

  • 📢Fixed that tournament debriefs could state that you have reached your seasonal target, when you had not

  • Various minor UI fixes

Match Engine

  • Significant improvement to attacking/defending AI decision making and positioning, as well as to logic regarding what weapons to buy, and much more

  • Fixed a few map layout issues

  • 📢Added individual instructions to tactics, for starters it features individual utility usage, but it will be expanded upon
