Devlog #3: Hiring Your First Employees

Welcome back, to another Devlog! ːsteamhappyː

I've added an employee system to the park, so you no longer have to run every job by hand. The first three hires are ready: a Ticket Seller who works the park entrance and sells tickets to the queue, a Hot Dog Seller who grabs buns and sausages, assembles the order (ketchup and all), and serves it up, and a Soda Seller who pours the right drink and finishes it off with a straw and a lid.

Your staff work with whatever you've stocked, though - when the buns, cups, or lids run out, they can't serve, so keeping stations supplied is still part of the challenge. Each employee automatically heads to the nearest open station and claims it, so growing your workforce is as simple as hiring more.

Under the hood, I also pulled the shared employee logic into a clean, reusable foundation, which means adding new roles later (cleaners are next!) will be much faster.

If you're enjoying the updates so far, please consider wishlisting the game - it really helps and keeps development moving!

Thanks again for following the development! Next update coming soon

Major update26 Aug 2026Devlog #6: TransportationDevLog time ːsteamhappyː I was MIA for a while, but I’ve been working on a TON of new features. I won’t cover most of them because, yeah, I’m lazy, but today I finished the first iteration of the skateboarding system! For transportation, we already have trucks that you can use to deliver items to your shops and get around the park more easily. But trucks are kinda big, so navigating the park ca…Major update18 Jul 2026Devlog #5: MultiplayerWelcome back to another Devlog! ːsteamhappyː Big one this time. I added multiplayer to Roller Coaster Park Simulator! You can now build and run your park together with friends, 1-8 players per park. There's no "builder" and "watcher" split - whoever joins can do anything the host can do. Build rides, hire and manage staff, clean up dirty rides with the Power Washer, walk around in first-person,…In-game event4 Jul 2026Devlog #4: Day & Night CycleWelcome back to another DevLog! ːsteamhappyː Quick confession: I've been building way more than I've been posting about. So instead of catching up on everything, I'll just talk about the newest feature. I might do a future DevLog listing every feature so far, along with a remaining TODO list. Anywayyyssss.... I worked on a Day & Night Cycle the last few days. The sun moves across the sky throug…
