Rowan's biggest update yet. Coins finally have something lasting to buy, every level got a coat of paint, and Thornwake now speaks ten languages.
Camp
A new screen off the campaign map, open from the very first level. Spend the coins you collect on things that last:
- Hardy Heart — up to +100 max health
- Quick Hands — spells recharge up to 34% faster
- Lucky Paw — up to +40% coins from foes and star bonuses
- Second Wind — cheaper revives, and a second one per try
Wardrobe
Eight coats for Rowan, including two earned by three-starring a whole world. The coat recolours the tunic and adds its own trail — Rowan's face stays Rowan's.
Continue where you fell
When Rowan falls you can spend a few coins to get back up on the spot, keeping everything you collected in the level.
Prepare screen
New items are introduced the first time you meet them, and levels that trip people up suggest a kit you can add in one tap.
Every level, dressed
- Depth-shaded stone, grass and stones along the ledges, wind in the foliage
- Drifting mist in every world, with fireflies, snow and embers where they belong
- Collectables glow: coins, spell charges, caps, apples and artefacts all have a halo
- Stronger foes glow by threat — variants get a rim light, alphas an aura, so you read the danger before the bite
- Exploding larvae now actually explode: flash, shock ring, sparks and a thump
- A Lighting Effects toggle in Settings for lower-end machines and the Deck's battery
Trader's Hut
The in-level shop is a proper shop: tabs, big item art, what you already carry, one Buy button.
Also since the last Steam build
- Ten languages — Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Italian, Turkish and Indonesian. Menus, shop, bestiary, level names and the story are all translated.
- Heavier combat — every spell that lands shoves its target back, and landing on an enemy sends it skidding. Eat a Spring Cap first and stomps hit half again as hard.
- Swamps 1–4 rebuilt around the biting scorpion and its venomous cousin, with more coins along the way.
- Woods 3 and 4 rebalanced — the purple wolves moved deeper into the forest so the first campaign eases you in.
- Star bonus rebalanced to 10 / 20 / 30 coins.
- Steam Deck — touch controls no longer appear on the Deck.
- Level complete shows your wallet and how far you are from the next upgrade.
- Fixes for crashes when closing the game from the background.
Existing saves carry over. Spells you already had stay yours, and the Bestiary is back-filled from the levels you have finished.
One wording to check before posting: the Second Wind line says "revives" rather than "coin revives", since Steam has no ad revive. If you prefer the exact in-game upgrade descriptions, they are in items.csv under the Camp keys.
