I'm super excited to announce that Patch 2.0.1 is here! As a solo developer, I’ve been closely listening to your feedback and working hard to make your island adventures smoother, more stable, and more enjoyable, especially when hanging out with friends online.Today’s update brings important network stability fixes, cross-mode leaderboard progression, and accuracy improvements to the Museum!Here is what's new in this patch:Multiplayer & Network Improvements:
Ghost Avatar Fix (VPN / Latency): Resolved an issue where high-latency connections (such as playing with VPNs or Cloudflare WARP) could briefly display other players as un-skinned white mannequins in the Social HUB spawn. Other players will now only appear once their actual room location and custom outfits are properly verified!
Faster Connection Handshake: The server now instantly shares map locations and customized clothing upon joining, ensuring everyone sees each other in the right place right away.
Leaderboard & Progression Sync:
Multiplayer EXP to Singleplayer Leaderboard: You asked, and I made it happen! Fishing in multiplayer now properly contributes to your Singleplayer Lifetime EXP Leaderboard. All EXP and Levels gained while catching multiplayer fish will now update both leaderboards in real-time.
Instant Level Up Sync: Reaching a new Level or exiting multiplayer will now immediately force-sync your latest progress and rank directly to Steam.
Yozakura Museum & Visiting:
Accurate Museum Statues: Fixed an issue where visiting other players' Yozakura Museums could show empty pedestals or incorrect statues. The museum now accurately reflects the visited player's actual fishing records, including stone and golden monster statues!
Bug Fixes & Adjustments:
Fish Renaming Shortcut Fix: Fixed a bug where typing shortcut keys (such as the letter 'J') while renaming your caught fish would accidentally close the book or lock player interactions.
Lobby Chat Polish: Cleaned up notifications and system messages when players join or leave lobbies.
