Settings > ENHANCED now opens its own page where effects can be turned ON and OFF.
Drop shadows: a shadow under every enemy, captive, item and grenade.
Dynamic lights: muzzle flashes, shots in flight and explosions light up the walls and floor around them.
Ogg music: The original background music converted from MIDI to OGG.
Hit direction: a red band on the edge of the screen shows where a hit came from.
Weapon flash: recoil and a muzzle glow.
Positional sound: effects fade with distance and walls/doors muffle what is behind them.
