The Last Embrace: Book One · published
Hi everyone!
Wanted to quickly let you know that Chapter 5, which is the final chapter of Book One, has been now finished and is now in early access on my other platforms. This marks the completion of the ''Awakening'' story arc which is now fully implemented.
This means that my next focus is the Steam release of Book One!
So the wait is almost over! The game will now be entering the final polishing phase. It is expected to release here on Steam by the end of 2026.
Here is what is planned currently for Book One polish and then release:
Early game updates with additional renders, higher quality and improved animations to line up with the later chapters
where possible, image sequences will be turned into animations for better immersion
All new SFX for lewd scenes will be implemented
additional languages other than English are planned to be implemented, in this initial version Spanish, French, Chinese and Russian are planned, more may be implemented down the line in future patch if there's interest
Steam achievements will be enabled
Apart from this, a future standalone DLC is planned called ''The Last Embrace: Origins'', exploring the protagonists story a millennia prior to the main game events. This will be a free short story with about 4 hours of content and will be fully story focused, won't have NSFW content due to how the story is structured. This DLC will be free!
And then after that, work starts on Book Two, which will have additional six chapters of the story but more on that when the time comes. This will be a separate game client with it's own page.
Book One will also be in the October's SteamNext Fest! For that, the current demo will have it's Prologue and Chapter 1 updated with additional polish and all the latest updates. So, if you haven't tried the game already, that demo will give you the most up to date glimpse into what's coming with the full version.
