Gravity Gun Madness Update Is Here!

The latest and biggest yet gameplay update for Project Mist has arrived.

This patch transforms the Gravity Gun from an optional item into an extremely useful tool. From the very beginning of your adventure, you'll be able to rip enemies apart, manipulate the environment, and unlock an entirely new progression tree dedicated to mastering its abilities.

But that's not all. We've also completely redesigned the cooking system with a brand-new Recipe System, improved lots of gameplay mechanics, fixed dozens of bugs, and introduced a terrifying new titan-class encounter.

We also added a new boss - The Crawler - a dying BioGen experiment desperately trying to escape into the marshes. Hunt it down before it disappears forever.

New Crawler Boss

Something came out of the mist...

The Crawler, a titan-class entity, gasping its final breaths. After enduring the vile experiments of BioGen, it has finally broken free from its chains.

But this time you are not fighting a beast; you are hunting a desperate prey.

Its primary defense is a sickening scatter of rat eggs, a distraction meant to buy time for its escape. When weakened, it exposes its underbelly, oozing a restorative compound to stitch its own wounds together. Exercise caution; do not draw too close, for its toxic blood forming cloud around it will poison you.

If it reaches the second lair, it will vanish into the shadows forever. Strike swiftly and with lethal intent target the weak spots, and pray you aren't overwhelmed by the rats.

You can find it haunting the marshes between the Dissection Lab and All-seeing Eye facility.

Gravity Gun Madness Update

The Gravity Gun has become a core part of the experience, opening up new ways to fight, explore, and survive. This update introduces a dedicated progression system, new combat mechanics, improved interactions with the environment, and a wide range of technical improvements and bug fixes.

Start with the Gravity Gun

Every player now begins the game with the Gravity Gun. There's no longer any need to purchase it, allowing you to start experimenting with its mechanics right away.

The Gravity Gun also now features its own dedicated upgrade tree, letting you unlock new abilities and improve its effectiveness throughout your adventure.

Pick Up Your Enemies

After unlocking the Enemy Pickup upgrade, you'll be able to lift enemies of different sizes and use them as improvised weapons or living shields during combat.

Rip Enemies Apart

Enemies now feature destructible body parts that can be torn off using the Gravity Gun. Use this mechanic strategically to gain an advantage in battle.

Control the Battlefield

Turn the environment into your greatest weapon. Grab and throw objects, create makeshift cover, or build new traversal paths using the Gravity Gun's abilities.

Redesigned Cooking

The cooking system has been completely reworked. Alongside the existing experimentation-based cooking, we've introduced a brand-new Recipe System. Experiment with different ingredient combinations to discover recipes on your own, or collect recipe notes scattered throughout the world to learn them more quickly. As you unlock better recipes, you'll gain access to more powerful and resource-efficient meals, giving you stronger buffs and making survival significantly easier. Whether you prefer to experiment or hunt for recipes, mastering cooking is now a much deeper part of your journey.
