Tip #1 — CHECK YOUR VITALS! Outward is a game that simulates the life of an ordinary adventurer in a very hostile world. You need to take care of your basic needs. — Eating well, staying hydrated, and getting enough sleep is the foundation of survival! You can also boost your strength further by drinking potions or coating your weapons with the right varnish, fire, electricity or good old poison.
Tip #2 — DROP YOUR BAG! In Outward, your backpack is your best friend. In combat, it can quickly turn into your worst enemy . When a fight breaks out, drop your backpack so you can roll and better preserve your stamina . See what happens when I keep it on?
Tip #3 — Keep your pockets full! Since you'll be fighting without your bag, make sure you have everything you need in your pockets. Health and stamina potions, bandages, bullets for your pistol, and a shield for when you need it.
Tip #4 — Loot smartly! Read every recipe you find and never be afraid to sell things you don’t need right away. If it won`t improve your build, don`t be a hoarder, recycle!
Tip #5 — Play with a friend! Whether online or in split-screen. Outward is an experience designed to be played in co-op from start to finish.
