Hello Explorers,

We're here with a follow-up hotfix to the Winds of Creation & Beyond Update.
https://steamcommunity.com/games/2253100/announcements/detail/684139458559214556?snr=2___

It is focused mainly on how you recharge your magical gear. Staffs and Spellbooks can now be topped up with Spirit Dust straight from your inventory or your hand, no charging station needed, though using one is still the more efficient option. On top of that, the update brings a rebalance of Spellbook charge values, a handful of Sandbox Inventory additions and a long list of fixes covering ships, generators, waypoints and island generation.

List of all changes can be found below.

Changelog:

New Features:

  • Staffs and Spellbooks can now be recharged using Spirit Dust from your inventory or directly from your hand (no charging station required but it’s more efficient using one)
  • Added a new Compendium tab for Localizer Cassettes in Special Tools category.

Changes:

  • Rebalanced Spellbook charge values to better fit the new charging system.
  • The basic Merchant Cassette is now correctly named "Merchant", matching the Merchant itself, instead of "Common".
  • Magic users like Bandit Warlocks, Wraiths and some Grimverds will now drop Green Dust.
  • Adjusted structure spawning in Jungle biomes, including removing large structures from islands that are too small for them, to prevent structures from being cut off.
  • Updated tutorials to reflect the new ways of recharging magical items.
  • Log Blocks can now be used as fuel in Generators.
  • Added missing Skull Armor parts to the Sandbox Inventory.
  • An active Quest Board has been added to Sandbox Inventory, allowing players to place it and receive quests. Previously, only the empty version was available.
  • Improved performance while loading already explored islands in single player and multiplayer.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where all objects from a converted Flying Ships could be completely reset when loading a converted save.
  • Fixed an issue where fuel could disappear from Generators faster than intended when client was interacting with them.
  • Fixed Staffs and Spellbooks not consuming charges and being unable to be recharged on older saves.
  • Apex now has the correct resistance values. They were previously assigned in reverse (fire and ice resistance)
  • Fixed an issue that left pickups in a broken state after picking them up while something was being destroyed.
  • Fixed issue where Waypoint filters would not show correct flag markers when using compass.
  • Fixed an issue where regular attacks could sometimes trigger a Heavy Attack when casted in a specific moment.
  • Removed an unnecessary "Interact" prompt from pipes.
  • Fixed resource decals on islands not being visible correctly from a distance.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented islands from being deleted if they generated moments before unloading a chunk.
  • Fix for the glider not working properly if the player loaded a save where they were flying on one.
  • Fixed a ship desync if one client moved and parked a ship and then another client joined the game.
  • Fix for decals from certain blocks appearing next to the ship if they were placed while the ship was turning.
  • Fix for Bandit Chief not using his regular attacks after performing a specific special attack.
