Crispy Circuits is plugging into Steam Programming Fest!

Steam communicates Programming Fest with the classic questions:

Nested for loops?

Tabs or spaces?

Goto?

We have one more:

Why is the diode backwards?

From September 10-14, Crispy Circuits is taking part in Steam Programming Fest.

Programming and circuit-building scratch a surprisingly similar itch:

  • Build a system.

  • Run it.

  • Stare at it when nothing happens.

  • Change one tiny thing.

  • Suddenly everything works.

  • Become slightly suspicious that everything works.

In Crispy Circuits, those systems are real electrical circuits.

A physically accurate SPICE simulator runs under the hood, so components follow real electrical rules. You learn by testing, breaking, debugging, and trying again.

And all this engineering has a very serious purpose:

Helping Giddily repair an RC plane for Crispy, a hamster who would really like to fly again.

Steam Programming Fest runs from September 10 at 10:00 AM PDT until September 14 at 10:00 AM PDT.

If logic puzzles, systems, debugging, or hamster-powered electricity sound like your kind of problem, come find us during the Fest.

You can also request access to the Crispy Circuits Playtest right here on Steam.

One last question:

What’s more satisfying to debug - code or circuits?
